The dirt isn't unsafe that's just a bad gift. Tell gram to stop giving the kids dirt.

Me: I need you. I can’t go on without you. Why do you want to hurt me?

My lower back: Because you turned very slightly to the left.

The coordinated nature of this—none are facing voters in 2026—means that either Schumer approved it or failed in his job as Senate Majority Leader to stop it.

Dems voting "no" get zero credit until they demand a change in leadership. Schumer out as Leader, Durbin out as Whip.
so currently defectors are:

Kaine (2030)
Shaheen (Retiring)
Hasan (2028)
Fetterman (2028)
Durbin (Retiring)
CCM (2028)
Rosen (2030)
King (2030)

I'm hearing the same thing. Dems are nearing a surrender. I'm shocked. Largest protest in history + best election night in years + polling showing we're kicking their ass in public opinion. And now Dems may cave.

It ain't over til it's over, so please do call if you've got a Dem senator.
Sounds like the squishes in the senate caucus are ready to pull the plug with no ACA changes. This is real. If you want to register your opinion you shld call yr senator in the next hour. They not only want to reopen w/nothing. They want cover from their colleagues who still want to hold out.

Bernie Sanders: "What this Senate is about to do is make a horrific situation even worse. So let's be clear what this vote is about. If this vote succeeds, over 20 million Americans are gonna see at least a doubling in their premiums in the ACA."

This looks awfully intentional.
None can be primaried in the next cycle, Shaheen & Durbin retiring.

Hassan, Masto, Fetterman up for reelection in 2028.

Rosen, Kaine, King up for reelection in 2030.

This is exactly what I said. It makes the Democrats look like they are responsible for the shutdown and they are responsible for the subsidies being taken away. It is hugely unstrategic and will kill so many Americans.

Dems are determined never to beat the "corrupt loser" allegations.
If the Dems blink after all of this, for a deal that all but ensures no ACA subsidies in 2026 anyway, then what was the purpose of letting the shutdown go for 40 days in the first place?

Snakeskin Bookmarks (Yes, Really)
Linnea Vegh was working at a large, well-lit workspace in the Conservation Division on a recent day, considering an unusual problem in an 1869 Persian-Arabic dictionary published in India: Snakeskin. Five thin, scaly pieces, all likely used as bookmarks that got left behind for more than a century. Welcome to the weird world of “inclusions,” an ecosystem known to archivists the world over in which they come across all sort of things readers have purposefully or inadvertently left between a book’s pages.

Of course not lmao Generative AI is entirely built on the of stealing art and prose you did not create and throwing it in a blender to make something that vaguely resembles what you want. That's literally the type of user base you've cultivated. You want thieves to pay to steal? Are you serious?
So many billions spent on the build out of infrastructure for a product that hardly anyone is willing to pay to use.
