Book Review: “Blood City Rollers” by VP Anderson
Sometimes, I grab ARCs a bit willy nilly at book events, then get home to find some interesting titles in my pile. That's how I ended up with Blood City Rollers by V.P. Anderson, and I'm not mad about it. Blood City Rollers is about a young ice skater named Mina. She's on track to be an Olympian, but then she wipes out during a competition.

February Reads!
March reads will be way less since I got an edit letter yesterday.
One of my fav reads this month was the unpublished journal of a man who walked the Camino and shared with me by his daughter, a librarian who sponsored me for a school visit.
Happy reading! #readingwrapup

You should know the details of this historic and horrible Supreme Court case, written by famously evil justice Scalia. They spelled it out. The police have NO obligation to protect anyone's life or health.

Why should the institution of policing continue to exist?
In 1999, a woman named Jessica Gonzales sought and obtained an order of protection against her physically abusive husband ("AH"), who had repeatedly threatened to kill her and their three children. The order included language specifically limiting when and where AH was allowed to see the children.
