Donald Trump participated in the crime these people are being "pardoned" for. It's no different than if he'd been called for jury duty on the day his own trial began: it's a self-evident violation of due process and the next Dem AG needs to make clear on day one that they won't honor it.
NEW: Donald Trump has pardoned a long list of allies in his bid to subvert the 2020 election including:
-Rudy Giuliani
-John Eastman
-Mark Meadows
-Sidney Powell
-Ken Chesebro
-Christina Bobb

The factional grifters will hate this, but the Mamdani-Spanberger-Sherrill axis actually suggests the outlines of a broad, emerging Dem coalition organized around both anti-Trump *and* affordability politics, not a party bitterly divided against itself.
These big wins will embolden Dems to take on Trump's lawbreaking and show there's a price for GOP enabling of him. Folks hate to hear this, but normal patterns are asserting themselves: Liberalism isn't dead, Rs are likely to lose in 2026, and Trump is really unpopular, not a magical exception.

Absolutely massive BS coming from social media "influencers" ostensibly plugged into NY local politics (including, apparently, Elon Musk) pretending to be outraged about the design of the NYC mayoral ballot. NY has had multi-line candidates in every election since the 1800s.

Yet another scandal unprecedented in American history.
Either Trump is senile and doesn’t recall issuing the pardon or a staffer issued it without Trump’s knowledge. Doesn’t matter which. Both are reason enough to remove him from office.

O'DONNELL: Why did you pardon Changpeng Zhao?
TRUMP: Are you ready? I don't know who he is
O'DONNELL: His crypto exchange Binance helped facilitate a $2b purchase of World Liberty Financial's stablecoin. And they you pardoned him.
TRUMP: Here's the thing -- I know nothing about it

People are making a big deal out of this but I expect if they asked "when was the last time you moved" the gap would be widest, and for the same reason.

This is the best thing I've read on what the post-Trump constitutional order needs to look like. A proportional House that can remove the president without the kangaroo court of impeachment (which has literally never worked).

New housing stops landlords from raising rents—take it from the CEO of AvalonBay, one of NYC's largest landlords:
"We're well-positioned… we face significantly less new supply. Land entitled for multifamily is hard to come by, the amount of time it takes to get those entitlements… sets us up well.”

This new map based on @theNYHC data makes it clear: it’s too easy to block affordable housing in wide swaths of the city.
If you agree every neighborhood needs to do its part in solving our citywide housing crisis, vote YES on Props 2-5.

We literally do disagree about this, though. Some politicians want to take food from children and some politicians don't. Pretending this "isn't political" just allows the child-starving ghouls to get away with it.

Inside the Trump family’s global crypto cash machine
The U.S. president’s family raked in more than $800 million from sales of crypto assets in the first half of 2025 alone, a Reuters examination found, on top of potentially billions more in unrealized “on paper” gains. Much of that cash came from foreign sources as Donald Trump's sons touted their business on an international investor roadshow.
