This is such crap. I carried some respect for Phillips really following his values to the end last year — how possibly can you not see the importance of a broad popular front against a fascist right in this moment? Truly gross genuflecting to bad-faith war loving cons. And for what!

Based on crowd-sourced records of No Kings Day event turnout, and extrapolating for the cities where we don't have data yet, it looks like roughly 4-6 million people protested Trump across the U.S. yesterday. That's nearly 2% of the U.S. pop!

Troops need to be off the streets of LA. It's authoritarianism, plain and simple. But so does ICE. It's both. ICE out of our communities, troops off our streets. This didn't 'start' when Trump deployed troops. It started when ICE started terrorizing undocumented and documented people alike.
