The way we've given up on AI safety is bad. I've written about one potentially disastrous (and likely) scenario here: transceive.substack.com/p/when-sora-...
When Sora Stops Waiting for Your Ideas

The immediate dismissal of these writers as “not left” is pretty disheartening. This cohort is in favor of a strong government and strong social safety net. That makes them left leaning. The gatekeeping is a bit out of control these days.

Totally normal stuff: Two sections of the Constitution, about due process and foreign gifts, just vanished off the Congressional website, a site that has not changed in many many years

Constitution Sections on Due Process and Foreign Gifts Just Vanished from Congress' Website
Part of Article I Section 8, and all of Sections 9 and 10, which address things like habeas corpus, nobility, and militias, are gone from Congress's website for the Constitution.

Super fascinated by this story. The transmission lines that may have started the Eaton fire had been deenergized for 50 years. Edison is blaming induction from another active line. Are there any other documented cases of that kind of thing happening? @latimes.com

Again: Elon Musk is directly responsible for 14 million coming deaths. 4.5 million will be children.
