Greater New York is facing an unprecedented assault on its vital transportation infrastructure.

Infrastructure is far too important to be used for political games. Read ETA's statement:

ICYMI, we have a new report!

The MTA voted to purchase slow, expensive battery-electric locomotives for Penn Station Access, a route that is already electrified.

We urge the MTA to reconsider this baffling and irresponsible decision.

Democrats are responsible for the words of every Oberlin College sophomore.

Republicans aren't responsible for the actions of the President of the United States.

We’re less than 48 hours away from turning on the cameras and starting congestion pricing in NYC.

We've put together a statement to celebrate the many benefits this initiative will bring to NYC transit, public health, and the climate.

yes, this is the heart of it. the “legal”/“illegal” distinction did not exist at the time the 14th amendment was written and ratified. if you want birthright citizenship to be restricted to legal immigrants then you need to amend the constitution, simple as that.
At the time the Fourteenth Amendment was passed and Wong Kim Ark was decided, there was no such thing as a legal versus an illegal immigrant. No "originalist" can take the idea birthright citizenship is not conferred upon the children of illegal immigrants seriously.

On Sunday, I launched my campaign to chair the DNC. I'm looking forward to talking with DNC members & allies about how we can unite our party, fight on every platform in every place, and win – with a year-round campaign strategy for each and every state and territory.

A casual reminder that Amtrak replaced 43 miles of track on the Keystone Line in 25% of the originally estimated project time and on budget because it owns the track and was able to do everything in-house. Maybe we should build state capacity and nationalize the rails?

Last year, when I was at MSNBC, I did a 10-minute deep-dive into RFK Jr's anti-vaxxer role in the measles outbreak that killed dozens and dozens of kids in Samoa.

I hope every Senator voting in his confirmation process for HHS knows about this crucial and awful story:
