I’ve gotten through the first part on Giuffre’s memoir that reveals the horrific abuse she suffered in her childhood, I’ve cried in every chapter seeing similarities and discovering the small differences that saved me. For god’s sake adults listen to young girls and be mindful of behavior changes.😭

You probably saw videos of a nighttime raid in Chicago. Agents rappelling from a helicopter, bursting down doors, questioning brown-skinned immigrants.

We investigated -- and found little evidence to support the government’s claims about Tren de Aragua.

Still thinking about this story. Imagine how cooked your brain has to be on Fox News -- how terrified you have to be, every day in your isolated suburban castle -- to start *shooting* when you see brown people at your door, before the door is even open. We're such a nation of terrified cowards.

I always read at least 2 books at a time and I just realized the 2 I picked this week are going to be very conflicting and difficult to switch between: Nobody’s Girl (Giuffre’s memoir) and Lady Chatterley’s Lover (Lawrence).🤷🏼‍♀️ I’m already wondering if I should rethink my random choices or just read.
