Congrats to Hall of Famer Jeff Kent, who was on Survivor in 2012 and said this after he was kicked off. It should be noted that the top marginal tax rate in 2012 was 35%, unchanged from the last 6 years of the Bush era. Which makes you wonder whether maybe the tax rate was not his beef with Obama.

Re Kimmel, it's important that Disney has left itself an out--it is a "suspension," not a cancellation or firing. What happens in the next two days--reaction within the company but also in the press, in the industry, in Washington, among consumers, and on social media--may affect how this plays out.

Ending my week with my oldest mourning the loss of her friend and classmate (and her friends’ teammate) in a senseless crime this morning in South St. Paul. This is one day after my other kiddo had to shelter in place at school. Two weeks after I witnessed the immediate aftermath of Annunciation.
