Pls consider ordering a book from your local indie bookshop *NOW* before holiday season to give store time to order title if they don't have it? This helps:

(1) support indie bkshops, (2) support human creators, (3) gets you ahead re: busy shopping time.

Psst: maybe one of my books? 🙏🏽💛 #KidLit

Libraries are so cool. Whenever I'm away from home and need a place to hang out between things, I find a library. There's a bathroom, a water fountain, chairs, and I can read, meditate, use the computers, or just be, and no one tries me make me buy anything.

I raised some monarchs this summer. Releasing them all grown up has lightened my heart in these turbulent times.

Adorable!
Since summer in the forest glade was rainy, little Edmund sat down in his favorite armchair, covered his feet with a blanket because he knows he gets cold after sitting still for too long, and started reading.

It is an amazing feeling when my 3 year old, who has been watching me work on my picture book the last few months, decides to doodle the characters herself and make up stories for them. ❤️

I often think the back of a sunflower is just as awesome as the front! I photographed this one in a field full of sunflowers in Somerset last week. I hope you all have a great Monday, and may it be as bright and cheerful as the petals of this flower 🌻
