Lung cancer in never smokers has become far too common.

We need to seriously address air pollution.

Stopping burning fossil fuels and biomass of any kind, inside and outside of our homes is key.
‘I was told I had two weeks to live’ – why are so many young, fit, non-smoking women getting lung cancer?
For decades, lung cancer has been viewed as a disease of older men who smoked. Now, cases among young women are on the rise and doctors are baffled. Could air pollution be behind it?

Brilliant to meet you @healthequals.bsky.social - thank you for all your work!

Listen Dr Anant Patel (@veggielungdoc.bsky.social) as he tells us why he was outside parliament last week calling on the government to act. 👇

@mumsforlungs.bsky.social You provide an incredibly important voice for policymakers to listen to. Great to meet you!
It was a pleasure to meet you, @veggielungdoc.bsky.social, this time last week on #CleanAirDay.

Air pollution must be recognised as a public health issue.

Our report 'A breath of fresh air' highlights evidence on the increased range of health impacts linked to air pollution.

The government needs to treat #airpollution as a serious & preventable health risk.
