At #COP16Colombia, Parties to the CBD adopted new mechanisms for describing and updating ecologically or biologically significant marine areas #EBSAs.

The CBD Secretariat ( @unbiodiversity.bsky.social) now accepts #EBSAs submissions on a rolling basis.
