Part of why millennials are so fucked up is we remember the internet before ads were everywhere and it’s having lived that good life and dreaming of what it used to be that makes us such a mess. Gen Z etc never knew a better internet.

Showed this to my older child. The response:

“This works for art and music too. AI can’t produce anything great because it will never have imposter syndrome.”
One of the many reasons AI can't produce good writing is it can't hate its own writing. It can't think to itself "Maybe I'm illiterate" during the writing process. And that's essential

It’s not free - these people pay taxes ffs.
Stephen Miller: "If Somalia keeps failing, if these societies all over the world continue to fail, you have to ask yourself if you bring those societies into our country & then give them unlimited free welfare, what do we think is going to happen? You're going to replicate the conditions they left"

This is 100% the plot to a James Bond movie so hoping things end allllright.
The Ellison family’s desire to take over Warner Bros should alarm anyone concerned with U.S. propaganda & media consolidation—

They would own Paramount, Warner Bros, CNN, CBS, HBO, TikTok & a host of major cable channels

The matcha you bought. It’s not ceremonial. It was mass produced in China.

100% this - there is so much wonderful information on Reddit for almost any subject and even with it going public which has undoubtably made Reddit worse, it is still the best place on the internet for actual human information that isn’t sponsored bullshit, AI, or weird right wing nonsense.
I'll add that as someone who not that long ago spent many frantic nights looking for information on sleep training, feeding, etc etc--by far the most valuable internet resource was reddit, the only place with human advice. Everything else is basically useless at this point.
This entire grift relies on convincing people that they don't know how to do the things they have always known how to do, and ironically, if it works, we will, in a very short amount of time, forget how to do all the things we have always known how to do.

Yeah man, if only you could read books or like the internet.

These people need to be launched into the sun.
Jimmy Fallon: "And do you use ChatGPT when raising your baby?"

Sam Altman: "I cannot imagine figuring out how to raise a newborn without ChatGPT."

Rich people disconnected from reality, sky also blue.
Cheryl Hines has admitted she was “surprised” to see friends peel away over her husband Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s endorsement of Trump.

These dumb fucks
Rand Paul on his healthcare plan: "What if you could join Costco? Costco has 44m members and if one person negotiated for all 44 and they bought a group plan like Toyota or General Motors does, they would be the largest collective entity in the country. They would drive prices down by sheer might."

Protectionism may have been a good short to medium term strategy a long time ago for various industries, but in 2025… protectionism is a fucking dumb strategy that only ensures the US becomes irrelevant even more quickly.

American resiliency is easy to achieve - you simply elect progressive governments that don’t funnel all money to billionaires. Ffs this is dumb.

VC firm Andreessen Horowitz hired Daniel Penny for choking a black man to death on the New York subway
To recap:
•Rittenhouse killed 2 people at a BLM rally & raised $2M
•Shiloh Hendrix called a Black child the n-word & raised $800K
•Now Crystal Wilsey called a Black customer the n-word & has already raised $100K in 1 day

On thing remains clear—White supremacy remains extremely profitable in America

It pains me to admit as a Jew but a lot of Israeli Jews learned the wrong lesson from the Holocaust and decided that they would be jury, judge, and executioner moving forward. This was not the lesson of the Holocaust - the lesson was not have fascists in charge… Israel now is led by mostly fascists.
Israeli National Security Minister Ben Gvir and other members of the Otzma Yehudit (Jewish Power) party wore golden noose-shaped pins to a Knesset National Security Committee meeting to discuss a bill to execute Palestinian detainees.

Yeah cool man but where’s my $12B for the fact that everything costs twice as much and is also shittier.

Also there is an easy solution which is stop all the tariffs ffs.

Slight addendum - the media will normalize anything with the minor caveat that anything cannot include progressive ideas which would better most Americans and do not involve making the richest few 10x richer.
it’s just remarkable how thoroughly the media has normalized all of this; how clearly the media will normalize absolutely anything provided it endures longer than a handful of news cycles.
This is just how we do mergers now.

It is objectively insane that the president keeps on having opinions on stuff like this that he should 100% not be anywhere close to
Trump attacks the new Ellison-owned Paramount, saying "THEY ARE NO BETTER THAN THE OLD OWNERSHIP" of CBS. Paramount is biding for Warner on the premise that it has a good relationship with Trump.

(The rest of Trump's post is a complaint about Marjorie-Taylor Greene.)

Yes and 100% of corporations employ lobbyists and lawyers so that they can underpay their employees and overcharge their customers so honestly I see no issue with this.
