As surreal as this whole thing already is, it can only be made better by the defense calling a rebuttal witness, the Sandwich Artist, who will testify that no mustard was put into the sandwich ordered by the defendant.
Border Patrol agent Lairmore testifies that he was not injured by the sandwich, but he felt the impact through his ballistic vest.

The sandwich came apart and "kind of exploded" on his chest upon impact, he says.

"I could smell the onions and mustard."

This is part of a global push to roll back privacy laws by companies that are constantly in trouble for violating privacy laws.

Here in California, they’re currently trying to amend CIPA (state wiretapping statute) to legalize wiretapping for “commercial purposes.”
At a time when US-based social media companies are platforming far right extremism in the EU, Meta is trying to get the Irish government to front their assault on EU privacy laws.

Yeah this is completely deranged. Among other things:

- a billion dollar payment
- Much more aggressive anti-diversity rules than required by law, including arguably forbidding stuff the Supreme Court explicitly said was permissible in SFFA

I like where this is headed. Now we can just eliminate $800B from the annual federal budget by turning military funding into sponsored programming: "the next hour of PT is brought to you by a generous gift from the Ford Foundation"
By my admittedly rough math, that would fund the U.S. military for about an hour and eighteen minutes
Trump: "By the way, a friend of mine called us the other day and he said 'I'd like to contribute any shortfall you have because of the Democrat shutdown. I'd like to contribute any shortfall you have with the military.' Today, he sent us a check for $130 million. It's gonna go the military."

...except I've never written a paper with that title. I was going to forward this jokingly to the authors ("I'm getting your email"), only to find no such paper exists.
