I remember waking up to a plaintive mewing noise but I thought it might be part of a dream, but then I felt Nixie jump on top of me and then flop down. I extended my hand to pet her and discovered she had brought me her crinkly banana toy. 😺 I had to patiently explain that 4 am is not playtime.

This is Buddy napping next to me. Both the cats love to hang out and be near by. Buddy doesn't sleep with us, so when he has enough alone time, he wakes us in the morning by yelling to get us to get up. Cats make their needs known. 😻

Since the words for "bowl" and "ball" are written and pronounced the same in Japanese (ボール), I know several people who thought the NFL championship game was just called "Superball". Which makes more sense, if you ask me, since it's hard to explain what kitchen implements have to do with anything
