1000 followers (and counting)! Thank you all 😁

To celebrate, I will share something from my collection for every like this post gets.

I’ll start things off with a special fanzine (by request) - I Palantir #1 (August 1960). The very first Tolkien specific fanzine!
Each month I am going to share with you a bit about the art in the Beyond Bree 2026 Calendar, as I am very proud of it, and the artists who are featured. For January, I will also talk about the fantastic cover art.

This calendar is still available for ordering from beyondbree.org

Hey everyone! This handle has been updated to @uruloke.tolkienguide.com, and the automated account (that currently posts the Tolkien Letter of the Day but will be doing much more this year) has been updated to @tolkienguide.com - just a bit of bookkeeping for the new year. Nothing you need to do.

My ebook readers tell me I read 56 non-Tolkien ebooks this year, plus about a dozen physical books from the library, plus Tolkien related reading puts me just under 100 I think.
NEW: How many books did you read this year? If it was more than 2, congrats: you read more than the median American.
