When our working families are strong, Minnesota is strong.

That’s why we’ve established paid leave, expanded the right to collectively bargain, and why we’re investing in the projects creating the union jobs of the future.

Happy Labor Day, Minnesota.

Beautiful!

Ridiculous it's necessary but glad to see!
New Mexico has issued a public health order that removes federal restrictions to COVID-19 vaccine access so that pharmacies in New Mexico can vaccinate people of all ages and risk profiles. Every state need to do this!

there is no question in my mind that rfk jr is the most dangerous person in this administration and that his eugenicist ideology threatens the lives of millions of people www.advocate.com/politics/dem...
RFK Jr.’s damage to the CDC is ‘past the point of no return,’ Dr. Demetre Daskalakis warns
“The CDC you knew is over,” the infectious diseases doctor told The Advocate. “Unless someone takes radical action, there is nothing there that can be salvaged.”

It's like the tree doors in Nightmare Before Christmas except each reality is the same but the taco bell you ate while playing PlayStation tastes slightly different
Here's all the different PlayStation logo designs that SONY considered before deciding on the one we all know and love today.

This so much

People will sometimes ask me about how sad I am about my minor ankle disability "oh, don't you feel awful you won't be able to climb a mountain someday?"

First off, who said I can't, it might just be harder?

Second, I don't take for granted what is still within my ability
We're all just one moment away from a different life. One diagnosis, one crisis, or one accident away from a completely different life. Life doesn’t ask before it changes, so this is just a reminder to not take your health or physical abilities for granted.

We are secrets of a once great wood. In roots and tangle, thorns and creeper.

At summer's end we tell the old stories. Enchantments in blackberries. Unkept vows in burrs. Revenge in nettle stings.

Our moths dance as the light did long ago. Listen. Robin sings of all we loved.

I love the way art creates more art by existing. It's like a microdosed religious experience. You get moved to creation.
If I see an amazing painting, I have to paint. If I read a great comic, I have to make comics. Good art awakens something inside of you that you have to let out.

Ideas percolating for a cosmic horror story involving a deity spreading its likeness via a viral doll...
I am forty two years old, so rather than keep pace with pop culture I have decided to parse anything I don’t understand as an ancient Mesopotamian god or mythic figure. So far this works fine for a “labubu” and I will be taking no further questions.

I didn't expect 2025 to be the year of the 3D platformer resurgence but between this and Donkey Kong Bananza this is shaping up to be awesome!

(Still crossing my fingers for a new Animal Crossing for the Switch 2 though)
Kirby and the Forgotten Land Switch 2 Edition launch trailer!

This game has more in common with Astro Bot and Super Mario 3D World compared to the recent released Donkey Kong Bananza, but all 3D Platformer fans should have it in their collection.

Minnesota is heartbroken.

From the officers responding, to the clergy and teachers providing comfort, to the hospital staff saving lives, we will get through this together.

Hug your kids close.
