I hope every woman, I hope every Black person, I hope every person from a group that Trump and his guys have called incompetent—are reading these text message stories and realizing these guys have been projecting their incompetence onto you. Racist ideas are normally projections.

Love Nigerian weddings!
At Nigerian weddings, it isn’t just bridesmaids who wear matching attire. As part of the ‘aso ebi’ custom, every guest is often expected to wear outfits cut from the same fabric to celebrate the bride and groom.
‘Kin Cloth’ Brings People Together — and Sets Them Apart
‘Aso ebi,’ a tradition that started as a symbol of kinship, has evolved into a statement of social standing, a tool for shifting wealth and a canvas for all kinds of domestic drama

Gutting the Dept of Education isn’t “reform”—it’s robbery. Cutting student loans, Pell Grants, disability services, and school meals? This isn’t about saving money, it’s about hoarding power. An uneducated, hungry nation is easier to control. We see the game. We won’t play. 🌗✨ #EducationMatters

Can we finally have a conversation on what Putin has on Trump? What he offered in exchange for his blinding allegiance to Russia, and what the threat was if Trump doesn’t fulfill his end of the bargain?

Obama and Biden may think they are honoring the office of the presidency by keeping quiet at a moment like this — if so that’s just preening vanity — they owe it to the office and to the Republic that until last month it served to speak up loudly and clearly and without relent.

Trump and Vance act as if the problem is that Ukraine is resisting an ongoing Russian invasion. The problem is the ongoing Russian invasion. If they want to use American power to stop the war, apply it to the aggressor. Abusing the victim is not going to end a war of aggression.

Russia does not want to end the war, and the Trump administration has shown no ability to induce Russia to end the war. And so, predictably, the Trump administration blames the victim, blames Ukraine.

Black people know America. Other targeted communities will sadly have to do this as well because we cannot rely on the Trump Administration to protect us. In fact, they're actively attacking us.

Behold the champion of meritocracy. Even the cabinet members look ashamed (except Peter Navarro, who really thinks he IS the best).

For all you folks who got snookered by talk of “merit,” how much more apparent can the truth be? They wanted a return to affirmative action for mediocre white guys
Elon Musk at Trump's first Cabinet meeting: "I think this is the best Cabinet ever. Literally. So, uh, and I do not give false praise... I think it‘s literally the best Cabinet that the country has ever had."

So increasing the minimum wage to a livable wage is “socialism”?

But Amazon union busting, keeping wages low, and forcing workers onto public assistance while its founder increases his net worth by $7.9M an hour is the "free market"?

Perhaps this could be a WaPo opinion piece.

In my survey, I mentioned something similar. I also added that as a black man, I didn't feel comfortable supporting a brand who's CEO openly joked about the assassination of a black woman running for president.
“After I sold the car, I got a customer satisfaction survey from them, and what I wrote, which I still believe, is that Musk has irretrievably damaged the brand, and I would not associate with that brand again, period.”
