I get so frustrated by the rich furry stereotype. There's certainly a niche of the fandom that pours a lot of disposable income into it, but even my frequent commissioners tend to be people with pretty regular jobs that just prioritize it as a hobby.
This fandom has a reputation for being "suspiciously wealthy" but the truth is most furries just love and value art and people so much that they want to use their money for art and supporting artists so they can make a living doing what they love. It's a cycle of genuine passion I think.

After furpoc I don't know that i'd ever do an artist alley again unless we can leave displays up. It was way too physically taxing for me, im spending my post con days recovering from various injuries of oldness. The people I met there were rad as hell though.

I kept holding off on printing new work examples for my con binders because I have a printer and kept imagining getting it out again and printing, but I finally gave up on that dream and ordered prints. Over 100 new examples and that's only a small fraction. Oh my god.
