The other thing about normalizing gAI use in higher ed is that we are teaching our students that they cannot trust their own creativity, their own thoughts and brains, their own skills without having it reshaped/shellacked/transmogrified by LLMs. We’re setting them up for failure and dependence.

The manual for Wario Blast: Featuring Bomberman shows an extremely low level of effort regarding Wario illustrations. Despite Bomberman receiving various different drawings, only one artwork of Wario is used, which is repeated 19 times without any alterations.

There needs to be a full investigation by someone to prove once and for all that calling these people Nazis is not going too far. Trump voters need to see the admiration for Adolf Hitler by the people running the "lesser of two evils" administration that they voted for.
When we say "explicitly neo-Nazi" we mean channels that fly swastikas and praise Hitler. That's the zone of internet where DHS is apparently finding inspiration for their X posts. It's ultra unlikely they would have ever encountered that song if they weren't in that space, imo.
Our researchers found at least 450 posts on Telegram dating back to 2020 that shared the song mentioned in this reporting.
Nearly all the posts we found were from explicitly neo-Nazi and white supremacist channels. And a review of our datasets found it hasn't circulated much outside those circles.

I'm glad Kurt is back but overall I don't have much faith in this. My take on season 1 was probably the most different from the general audience of any piece of media over the last few years, I did not enjoy it much.

I'm glad Kurt is back but overall I don't have much faith in this. My take on season 1 was probably the most different from the general audience of any piece of media over the last few years, I did not enjoy it much.

Just posted to Cygames official socials, in multiple languages: a statement on the new Cygames AI tools company, which addresses concerns and says that there will is no generative AI art in any of their products now, and generative AI will not be used in the future without notice.

Did they just give up? That's so lame. There are a ton of ways they could have controlled the narrative. They were already doing better than Concord by having a gameplay-focused trailer, expand on that. Put out a video specifically called "What separates Highguard from other extraction shooters."

I finally got back to the Cyberpunk 2077 DLC, which has Idris Elba playing a character.
There's a part where you infiltrate a party undercover, and the music playing is clearly an Idris Elba DJ track - you can tell because the sample is his voice.

I got my passport yesterday and it's pretty lib-coded, surprisingly. It's got quotes on the pages, one from Lyndon B. Johnson about how we need to "welcome a new world", and another quote from Martin Luther King Jr. They must be working on removing those in the 2026 edition maybe.

It's interesting that,due to media usage and probably other factors,the most well-known/enduring songs of some musicians has changed.For Bowie it was Space Oddity and Changes,now it's Heroes. For Smiths it was How Soon is Now,now it's "There is a Light...".For ELO it was Evil Woman,now Mr. Blue Sky.

"ConformityGate" is an example of how damaging being a part of modern fandom can be to some people, mentally. Especially the people who believe it because of some never-gonna-happen ship they liked, it's getting a little close to a real, like, medically concerning delusion.

We should get a new No Man's Sky update within the next couple of weeks, if they're sticking to their normal schedule. If NOT, it might mean they're finally winding down, which I've been expecting them to do for a couple years now. They've definitely done enough!
