1/7 Let’s talk about Hungary.

Conservatives around the world praise it as a model nation.

They say it represents Christian values, national strength, and anti-woke politics. But almost none of that holds up under scrutiny.

Hungary is a warning, not a model

Es jau pus-pajokam piedāvāju, ka tos, kas kāro Rīgas domes krēslus, jāintervē, ejot pa Brīvības vai Valdemāra ielu līdz Pārdaugavai (vēlams pa Vanšu tiltu), stumjot (tukšus) bērnu ratus vai ratiņkrēslu, cenšoties pārbļaut satiksmi, meklējot pārejas un gaidot pie luksoforiem.

In today’s Vatnik Soup REBREW, I’ll introduce a Russian ultra-nationalist propagandist and “philosopher”, Aleksandr Dugin. He’s best-known for his blueprint on Russia’s geopolitical strategy and for his genocidal rhetoric towards Ukrainians.

I wrote this before the Oval Office performance, but really, there is nothing to add. It's all still true.
Putin planned to take Kyiv in three days, but he couldn't take Kyiv in three years.
The only way Putin wins now—the only way he finally succeeds in destroying Ukraine’s sovereignty—is by persuading Ukraine’s allies to abandon Ukraine.

Europe won't survive sleeping through another wake-up call. We should jump out of bed and throw on a shirt. We should do what we can, with what we’ve got. And we’ve got a lot. Here's how to step things up as the US steps down:

The list is quite long: the Algerians the French, the Americans the British, Finns the Russians, the Poles the Russians, down to even the Estonians defeating the Russians (and Germans) in 1918.

There seems to be secondary theme here too. WHO do the smaller ones so often have to fight?
And it is downright foolish to think that the Vietnamese could ever have defeated the USA or the Afghans have defeated the USSR!

We live in an age where policy makers wear their ignorance proudly.

They were partly right. We had a plan. But it was a shit plan.

Imagine 70 years later us still peddling the same bullshit & it's the Germans themselves most likely to believe it

NATO expansion is a myth. It is a Russian lie. Here is the map.

After World War II the Russians militarily occupied half the European continent. The Russians picked their leaders. They wrote their laws. They brutalized their people and took whatever they wanted.
