there are, unfortunately a handful of occasions where you have to hand it to France. most of them are considerably more metal (e.g. the organized "light everything on fire" popular response every time the government even suggests cutting pension payments) but I suppose this probably counts

Interestingly, in Loper Bright vs Raimondo, the conservative majority on SCOTUS ruled just last year that the judiciary can in fact overrule regulatory decisions made by the executive branch especially when those decisions are not specified by Congress.
