If you are a federal employee, it is advised to set your social media accounts to private to prevent outside viewership, as reports suggest that loyalty screenings have begun.

I always wanted to do this (but it’s been low on my priority list to figure out). Kudos to whoever did!
It’s always a good idea to do this… especially in these trying times #doctorwho
If you’re looking for something to do today that is who-related, might I suggest watching doctor who from River Song’s chronological order. Here is the list. You won’t be sorry. It will open your third eye. #riverwatch #doctorwho

No one in this house has set foot outside in over a week because of this illness. (It’s not Covid - we’ve all tested multiple times - and I STILL haven’t caught it.) and as of last night, the original carrier has caught it again. So yay to another week or so of being the only healthy person here!

Democrats could have repealed the Hyde Amendment when they had a trifecta, but didn’t, because conservative Dems wanted to use the reproductive freedom of poor women as a bargaining chip in back room deals with Republicans.

Now Trump is weaponizing it.

So the family went apple picking last fall, and for funsies, I kept the seeds, wrapped in a wet paper towel, in the fridge. I checked them today and ALL of them have sprouted. I figured one or two would, but All of them did. Now I have to figure out where to plant them!

Someday this house will not ring with the sounds of hacking, coughing, and sniffling … but that day is not today.

(Still haven’t caught it yet, but MAN am I tired.
I’m the only one in the house well enough to do anything.)

In 1933, Nazis issued a decree that required Germans to snitch on anyone who spoke against the party, its leaders, or the Govt.

In 2025, MAGAs force federal employees to snitch on anyone who does "DEI in disguise," or suffer "adverse consequences."

Health insurance companies do not provide mental healthcare. They make money by denying access to it.

Record health insurance industry profits are *because* insurance companies broke the law and failed to cover mental health treatments, not in spite of.

teensy tiny correction: the government does not have to provide you an attorney for immigration court, so you should make arrangements with one now. Just someone you can call if you get yoked up by ICE.

If you ask for one, they will not and do not have to provide you one.
SHARE WIDELY.
KNOW YOUR RIGHTS.

With mass deportations starting today across the country, it is vitally important - for both citizens and non-citizens - to know your rights.

You have the right to remain silent. Assert it. You have the right to a lawyer. Ask for one.
