My friend Sue, an autistic occupational therapist, was teaching this in the early years of Autreat. She also educated many grateful autistic adults in the Phx area. I was one. She planned to write a book after she retired, but then her husband became ill.

Especially since green tea strongly inhibits CYP3A4, the metabolic pathway all my meds use. Nuthin' like having all of them fail at the same time. I'll stick with coffee, thanks.

Crisis teams don't know shit about the needs of autistic ppl in crisis. I don't know how anyone accesses treatment. It's such a maze of unhelpful ppl calling too much offering nothing I haven't desperately tried several times already to help my family member.

This is why I keep returning to the makerspace. Losing myself in the creative flow is therapy for my weary mind. The socially prescribed method of talking to a kind stranger 1 hour a week does *nothing*. Its sole benefit is placating medical doctors ignorant of autistic adult lives and needs.
