Running a marathon overnight Friday into Saturday.
It is my first full marathon.
I have a few whys (to show my kids I can do something hard, to show myself I can do something hard) but I think the most important why is I get to put a 26.2 sticker on my car after.

Back in our old hometown tonight. Unfortunately, we lost my wife's grandfather last week and we're laying him to rest tomorrow.
He was a wonderful man with an infectious laugh that loved everyone. It's been a hard time for our family and he's going to be missed so much.
