“Criminality is so rampant inside CBP that it has seen one of its own agents or officers arrested every 24 to 36 hours since 2005. CBP’s misconduct scandal is so long-running that today it would be old enough to drink.”

Should be noted that undocumented immigrants have a VERY low propensity to commit crimes, so that's a low bar. But still the comparison is damning.

However bad you think the corruption and misconduct at ICE and CBP is — the reality is far far worse.

Americans, we are living in a time of viciousness.

We are living in a time where speaking the “wrong” language or having the “wrong” skin color puts you in danger.

Congress must disband ICE and impeach Kristi Noem.

They can't use the excuse that they were novices. These were seasoned [criminal] professionals. I wonder how many other people they terrorized or killed in the scared, empty spaces of the deserts along the border?

We believe there are few investigations that deserve more sunlight and public scrutiny than this one, in which two masked agents fired 10 shots at Alex Pretti as he lay on the ground after being pepper-sprayed.

Early in his career, William Randolph Hearst famously joked that if his papers kept losing $1 million a year, he'd lose all his money in 60 years. If the Post continues to lose $100 million a year, it will take Jeff Bezos 2000 years to lose his money.

I don't understand how the U.S.A. was so weak enforcing laws protecting itself from Trump criminals who have openly walked all over, not just laws, but our Constitution, to plunder and reign terror to the people. And why aren't there 10,000 independent Prosectors banding together as guardrails?

Yup, all that. What never made sense to me was an extremely wealthy and powerful law firm immediately caving to a completely baseless demand. It sends a clear signal that they can’t be counted on to fight for their clients if they won’t fight for themselves.
