This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined.
It is setting up to make what’s happening now look like child’s play. And people are disappearing.

i heard some rabbi was complaining last night about calling trump's deportation cages "alligator auschwitz" and there is honestly nothing more offensive to the memory of the holocaust to interpret "never again" to mean "you can never again compare different atrocities to this one, which is mine."

Hmm, let’s see… mass detention of civilians without trial or traditional legal protections on the basis of identity (race, religion, ethnicity, political affiliation) rather than any criminal act, often for an indefinite period and done principally to expand political power. Check.

It doesn't matter if federal judges stop DOGE and reverse their actions. Once DOGE gets into the systems of an agency, they've achieved their goal. Collecting and storing classified data, private citizens' information and tax status, aggregating & training AI on all of it, that's the goal all along.
