If you were looking to combat transnational crime, especially drug cartels, this is the exact office you would NOT shut down. This move by Trump's DOJ undermines any argument they want to prosecute international cartels, human traffickers, and gang members such as MS-13.
Trump Admin is shutting down OCDETF program — prosecutors, agents and analysts who target transnational drug cartels. Odd decision in light of stated priorities.
