It’s a sign of how far the GOP has become simply the Trump party and democratic norms and guardrails have completely weakened that the incoming president could issue pardons for insurrectionists who committed violence against police officers and the old party of law and order barely says a thing.

Imagine watching disaster movies like The Day After Tomorrow or 2012 and thinking that the apocalyptic weather scenes were the “unrealistic” part.
Turns out those scenes were almost bang on.

We desperately need housing supply. But we also desperately need interesting, innovative, well built developments and new towns. We need not only to talk about how much we're building, but what and how. When we only talk about the former we just get shoddily built, identikit houses which won't last.

Ever wondered why walking around museums is weirdly tiring? At normal speed our legs act like pendulums, swinging forward from the hip & saving us a huge amount of energy. In "museum shuffle" our muscles must do ALL the work of constant readjustment. So cake in the cafe is scientifically justified 🥳

Ok, ok, hear me out. What if we took a bright and colorful popular animated kids movie but remade it live-action where we still have to animate the fantastical elements, but we desaturate the color so it's less vibrant and feels lifeless by comparison? I think that would be easy money!
