Imagine being such a dipshit loser that the most transparently awful Supreme Court since the 19th century doesn't even want to use you as an excuse to play Calvinball

Heritage is just cartoonishly evil. Just the worst scum on the face of the planet.
1/ The US Government has quietly removed a memorial to Black soldiers who died in World War II from the Netherlands American Cemetery in Margraten, South Limburg. The move follows a complaint from the right-wing Heritage Foundation to the American Battle Monuments Commission. ⬇️

The truly maddening thing is that, unlike when I was a young man in science and the materials and engineering just weren’t there yet, the future is *right there.* The problem is *solved*. What’s holding us back is not just greed, but this bizarre nostalgia, an obsession with petro- masculinity.
Australia has so much electricity from solar power that it is going to start offering free electricity to everyone for at least three hours during the day as the wholesale price of power goes negative

Australia has so much solar that it's offering everyone free electricity
Australia's extensive solar power penetration makes so much energy that the government wants to offer free electricity at peak hours.

Dr. Oz is a pickled scum-nut kook by choice but at least he moved immediately to assist; RFK Jr. hightailing it like he just saw an angry ghost is probably only the fourteenth most insane thing he's done this week.

whatever you think of Spanberger, the fact that her opponent ran a campaign based almost entirely on transphobia and is on track to eat shit in the biggest blowout the state has seen since 2009 is unambiguously a huge win
Earle-Sears ran what felt like 12 billion ads about how much she hated trans kids and I didn’t hear a single pundit say she should stick to real issues that affect real people.
WASHINGTON (AP) — Democrat Abigail Spanberger wins Virginia governor’s race.

Looking forward to learning all about how the right should move left to win elections tomorrow. They should maybe dye their hair pink, learn to love pronouns.

One noteworthy feature of every permutation of this bullshit scam (yes, it's a bullshit scam designed to push writers' FOMO buttons) is that it posits vast communities of eager genre readers who don't move or talk until their leader gives some sort of signal, like gigantic nerd sleeper cells.
The scammers are getting more convincing, so let's dig deeper. I got one today from Manhattan Book Club. So-- they're adding an American word, a place we all know, to make it sound familiar. And yet... something is off. 1/

I do think it’s noteworthy that when these guys are inventing party planks that don’t exist they always go to anti-racism as the mockworthy initiative
I don't think it helps the debate about what Democrats should do to pick an obscure thing that some Democrat somewhere may have said -- like on teaching eighth grade algebra -- and then attribute it to Democrats generally.

The big media landscape is being steadily washed of people willing to defend the idea that we are enfranchished citizens of our nation-states, that we are owed anything, that we have the right to expect anything.
They gutted the Washington Post. CBS. NYT. Now Teen Vogue.

The point isn't to bring in more conservatives. They've reached that saturation point.

They are killing the fourth estate and buying up the social media to control the messages we see. These were all targeted to disarm the left of truth.

TRUMP: Are you ready? I don't know who he is

O'DONNELL: His crypto exchange Binance helped facilitate a $2b purchase of World Liberty Financial's stablecoin. And they you pardoned him.

TRUMP: Here's the thing -- I know nothing about it

I want Scott Adams to have functional healthcare, because I want us all to have functional healthcare. But note that he spent years as a hysterical opponent of public science and support networks, and now that it's his ass on the line OF COURSE he suddenly wants science and a support network...
Adams has railed against vaccines, and science in general, for many years. Kennedy cut funding for promising work including mRNA vaccines for prostate cancer. Just, the audacity here.
