Down 2 more lbs, and up another 500 steps, as many as 9 floors on the stairs a day, give or take a trip. It wasn’t that I didn’t want to change, it was just that no matter what did it wasn’t good enough so I didn’t even WANT to try anymore. Not for you. I had to leave so I could do it for ME.

I’ve spent what feels like more time outside in this last week than I have in the last 5 years. The sun feels different. The air smells fresh. I’ve been walking. Taking the stairs. I’m down to 225lbs. I know you thought I was lazy and not helping myself. The truth is I felt too trapped to care.

I’m glad you made this decision for me, I feel so much better. I didn’t realize how small I made myself to make you happy, until I shed the weight from my shoulders and stood up straight again. Thanks for pushing me overboard, there was nothing I could do anymore to save that sinking ship. Good bye.
