Totally inappropriate, and foul mouthed. I smoke weed like a chain smoker, love cats, and am pretty fucking honest and open. Oh, I'm also a Computer Engineering student with a focus on hardware engineering and am somewhat interested in cybersecurity.
Man, academically I really enjoy three things. Everything to do with chip fabrication and the R&D in/around it, PCB design (especially complex designs), and motherfuckin' Cube Satellites (specifically the science done on them).

It is so weird when any of these things enter politics actively.

Huuuh. I seem to have bought backend hosting while Hetzner's billing services are down.

Now, instead of listening to the slimeball's little podcast you could I dunno... Listen to us people in California who keep saying HE WILL NOT WIN OUR STATE IF HE IS THE CANDIDATE? Saves soooo much fucking time and deny's that freak an increase in his little metrics.
Critics tell California Gov. Gavin Newsom to "grow a f*cking spine" after the possible Democratic frontrunner for 2028 backed down on his criticisms of ICE during an interview with right-wing pundit Ben Shapiro.

If your stance with ICE isn't full support of abolishing it then you are very much the problem and should really start figuring out what the fuck is wrong with yourself.
January 13, 2026 at 7:19 PM
So, if I get this right... Some people are mad at a NYT columnist for taking a tepid stance on how to handle ICE that is fully status quo, and then the NYT columnist and his pals are... More focused on dunking on the more upset people and rewording their shit opinions ninety times than the issue?

The people at Knowledge Lab at the University of Chicago should have their PI fired and their PhD students put under academic review for not getting INFORMED CONSENT about that AI bullshit. We have clear ethical guidelines that we MUST follow and getting permission from subjects is a concrete one!

What I am getting at is the Content Filters don't actually work because Bluesky will randomly ignore the settings.

So, funny story with that. The post in question is set to Hidden for me but my settings have always been set to Warn, and the last time this issue came up was it autohiding a PG image of a person showing off their cleavage slightly... Marked as Sexually Suggestive (set by me to show cause IDGAF)....

FYI, on the Minneapolis shooting video: Bluesky hasn't taken it down. It's been labeled as "graphic media" so that people can avoid it if they choose.

You can change your personal settings on whether you see media labeled as graphic (or whether it appears with a warning) here: bsky.app/moderation
Are people unable to watch this now bc it's been tagged as graphic media? Because this is newsworthy and important and that seems like a problem to me.

Is... local CBS just going to continue with sports and ignore the bombings?

Jesus. The series finale of Stranger Things has a literal fade to black moment that faded right the fuck back into the same scene at the same moment. Fucking up the actual runtime because you assume you need cliffhangers for commercial breaks?

Just going straight up with a nazi talking point. Jesus christ.
JD Vance: "A lot of young people are saying housing is way too expensive. Why is that? Because we flooded the country with 30 million illegal immigrants who were taking houses that ought by right go to American citizens."

Attorney General Pam Bondi says she has retroactively appointed former Trump attorney Lindsey Halligan as a "special attorney" for DOJ and has "ratified" all of her actions to date, including her presentations to the grand juries that indicted Trump's foes.

Mike Johnson: "Imagine a scenario where they were in charge and they didn't have the filibuster. We would have nationalized elections, they would infringe on our 2A rights, they'd pack the Supreme Court, and they'd make Puerto Rico and DC states."
