The guy tasked with shaking up government has created an organizational culture where people who point out that he is breaking government rules are pushed out. Some of those rules might be pointless, but ones related to national security seem important.
Most telling about this matter: A SpaceX employee who raised concerns about this matter was pushed to resign by the company.

This is incredibly disturbing and goes against every rule of war, international law, the Uniform Code of Military Justice, and the very ethic of the military. A disciplined military goes to every length to prevent civilian deaths and having a SecDef who doesn't care is unacceptable.

I think the thing that grinds my gears the most about the argument that “we were founded as a Christian nation” is that this topic was in fact endlessly debated and fought over during the founding and those who wanted a secular government fucking WON.
