The guy tasked with shaking up government has created an organizational culture where people who point out that he is breaking government rules are pushed out. Some of those rules might be pointless, but ones related to national security seem important.
Most telling about this matter: A SpaceX employee who raised concerns about this matter was pushed to resign by the company.

1. Justin Sun, a Chinese national being prosecuted for fraud by the SEC, just sent Donald Trump $18 MILLION

Sun made the payment by purchasing tokens from a Trump-backed crypto company

THIS IS A MAJOR SCANDAL

Have people totally forgotten that they, as taxpayers had to bail out farmers to the tune of $28B because of TRump’s tariffs?

“China will pay the tariffs,” is the new “Mexico will pay for the wall.”

Don’t be a sucker for his con a second time.

- FTC also has show cause to ban Meta from collecting minors’ data
- Zuckerberg is personally named in massive Delaware suit

it's worse than a subsidy! they want to appropriate a quarter trillion dollars' worth of US public assets and give them to a tiny handful of bitcoin whales!! it's highway robbery!!! prospect.org/power/2024-1...
Let’s be real: This is a subsidy. The people who hate public spending have invented a massive government subsidy for a technology that has still yet to find a broad-based practical application 15 years after its debut
Crypto leaders press Trump to create federal bitcoin reserve
President-elect Donald Trump has expressed support for the bitcoin idea, which some economists see as inflationary and costly, depending on its implementation.

This is incredibly disturbing and goes against every rule of war, international law, the Uniform Code of Military Justice, and the very ethic of the military. A disciplined military goes to every length to prevent civilian deaths and having a SecDef who doesn't care is unacceptable.

I think the thing that grinds my gears the most about the argument that “we were founded as a Christian nation” is that this topic was in fact endlessly debated and fought over during the founding and those who wanted a secular government fucking WON. This is not secret knowledge. They wrote it down

Trump "tried to limit financial conflicts"!? What is this absurd rewriting of history? He made no such attempt.

I ran a website tracking these conflicts. As just a guy with no budget, I managed to track 2,500 incidences involving Trump, his family, or cabinet officials. This time will be worse.
'Trump tried to limit financial conflicts in 2017. This time could be different.'

Really? The headline should be 'Trump made a feeble effort to give the appearance of limiting financial conflicts in 2017 and will probably not bother at all this time'

Trump will take office with extraordinary wealth at a time when the government’s ability to monitor his ethics is far weaker than in his first presidency.
