I had BDD added to my NHS record after I requested a referral to a GIC. I have never been diagnosed with BDD. I do not have any symptoms of BDD. Being extremely generous a stupid GP tried to add dysphoria and added dysmorphia instead. Being less generous...

BDD and eating disorder specialists need to know the signs of gender dysphoria so they can suggest treatments that could help to patients for whom they otherwise have no way of helping.

This seems completely backwards to me, as a former anorexic.
BDD and eating disorder specialists need to know the signs of gender dysphoria so they can suggest treatments that could help to patients for whom they otherwise have no way of helping.
