Motherfuckers are "writing" with AI and I won't even look at a thesaurus to spur ideas because it feels "inauthentic."

I've had some trouble getting a grasp on the zeitgeist, but it's clear to me now that the most fashionable trend of the 2020s is "insanity beyond parody"

Nothing helps you check a mix like the pulsating drone of lawn service equipment

Isn't it November? Shouldn't this stuff all be dead by now?

No, aliens did not build the pyramids. But did you know? The true inventor of Earl Grey was, in fact, a Gray

Masking indoors in public spaces boils down to this for me now:

I love never being sick from airborne infectious diseases.

The last cold I had was in early 2019, with not even a sniffle since. The only thing I don't do is dine indoors in public spaces; a good trade for health.

Can’t believe the whole country has to suffer through the return of Dickensian childhood diseases because the worst, most ignorant attention-demanders decided other people’s expertise makes them feel bad

This is a real image of a real thing that exists in the universe! And because a bunch of humans decided to get together and build a space telescope, we get to see it! 🤯

Would you tell a painter they have too many colors on their palette? Would you tell a writer they have too many letters on their keyboard? Would you tell a dancer they have too many feet on their legs?

So no, I do not have too many effect pedals.

I am so tired of living in a covid-filled world.

But, I am even MORE tired of needing to overcompensate for, and navigate around, the majority of people who are determined to act as though we are still living in a 2019 world.

COVID is not over. Masking is not unreasonable. People are still being disabled and killed by COVID every single day. No more people need to have their lives destroyed by this virus. We can stop, we must stop it.
Today, one month after my first positive covid test, I had to come home from the film festival after only one movie because I was so tired. This week I feel like I'm walking uphill on no sleep, despite getting a full 8-10 every night.

Basically fuck you if you don't wear a mask in a crowded space.
