Good to keep as a watch list.
Goldman has a ”list of 47 US stocks with exposure to broad tariffs”.
We actually studied this scene for its historical accuracy in a class I took on Rome at the University of Michigan 30+ years ago. Imagine Hollywood putting 15,000 extras on a set today? You can feel the vibe coming off the screen.
William Wyler’s epic “BEN HUR” starring Charlton Heston, premiered #OnThisDay in 1959. Here the iconic chariot race which was filmed over 5 weeks on an enormous 18-acre set at Cinecittà Studios in Rome, famous for its intense, practical stunts and large scale, involving 78 horses and 15,000 extras

Williams-Sonoma: Delayed tariff dates means the new tariffs would not be applied until late Q3. They also front loaded. In Q4, the tariffs will impact more. Will feel the real impact. #WSM

Williams Sonoma said today it still couldn't estimate tariff impacts. Tariff rate rose to 29% from 14% earlier this year. Has been mitigating it by front loading inventory and raising prices. #WSM

You don't say. What else are we "bringing back"? Haven't seen much of this either.
While tariffs were intended to incentivize self-sufficiency, the U.S. simply cannot produce enough of certain goods like coffee and bananas. As prices soar on those items, the Trump administration has reversed course.

You might not have caught what just happened on the Senate floor, but the Senate just “deemed as passed” the Epstein resolution.

That means as soon as it arrives from the House, it automatically passes the Senate (with no amendments) and heads to the President’s desk.

Wow.

Just ban it already. Sorry TikTok'ers.
A promised TikTok acquisition by US investors, brokered through Trump, has been stalled for months. And the lawmakers who passed the ban are largely staying quiet.

Even the lawmakers behind the TikTok ban have no idea what’s going on
TikTok was supposed to be banned from the US 10 months ago.

Aren't all these examples in this NYT article (free gift article) just about affordability? It was only the low mortgage rates that allowed these people to buy in the first place. And now they can't. Because $2300 a month mortgage is unaffordable to most. www.nytimes.com/2025/11/16/b...

Alphabet's pretty price and consensus chart. However, analysts are cautious on 2026's earnings growth. Expecting just 4.4% for 2026. #GOOGL (I own it)

Hard to do this as teams got to keep 3 legacy rivalries like Michigan v Michigan State. If both teams stink, then it is what it is. Also, this is what the Big Ten championship is for. Indiana v OSU (presumably) even though they didn't play each other in the regular season.
Not sure how but the Big Ten needs to figure out a way to make the scheduling more interesting. Ohio State's best win is overhyped Texas. Michigan is 8-2 and their best win is what, Nebraska? Indiana's last 6 B1G opponents have a combined 6 conference wins. 18 teams in a conference was stupid.

This will be an election issue in 2026 and 2028. There's going to be a big backlash against tech and AI. With that will be the backlash against data centers. They don't need many employees to operate but are sucking up all the power.
