We implore authors, peer reviewers, and journal editors to stop perpetuating the concept of static and cidal antibiotics, given the aforementioned evidence demonstrating it is a myth. In a clinical context, these terms are not complex. Rather, they are simply incorrect

Proud to be part of this work lead by wonderful medical student Mahaa Ahmed examining the roll out of nirsevimab in its first season of use. This study examined children born outside of RSV season who are therefore dependent on their primary care practices (and not birth hospital) to get nirsevimab

ACOG is deeply disappointed by HHS’s move to drop COVID-19 vaccine recommendations in pregnancy. The science is clear: COVID-19 remains dangerous in pregnancy and vaccination protects both patients and newborns. The vaccine is safe and protects families. Read our full statement: buff.ly/OGue7sO

#RSV rates in infants are falling. Hospitalizations are down 28 % and 43 % for infants less than 7 months in two different networks, as reported in this week's MMWR.

This is real world evidence that maternal immunization and MAbs are protecting this vulnerable populations - #MedSky.

It’s been a tough few weeks. My 10yo daughter was diagnosed with a very rare, aggressive cancer called interdigitating dendritic cell sarcoma (IDCS). I’m reaching out to identify clinicians/patients who have encountered pediatric IDCS or other (non-LCH) dendritic or histiocytic sarcomas cases.
