Amy Lieberman from *The Conversation* recently interviewed me about the problems with traditional grades and the alternative models folks are using to mitigate the harms of these practices that are far past their expiration date. Excited to see it up today! theconversation.com/a-b-c-or-d-g...
A, B, C or D – grades might not say all that much about what students are actually learning
Grades can magnify inequities that exist in American schools, making it harder for some students to succeed.

We are asking the wrong question on AI. It is less about "can it give me the answer?" and more "can we work out the answer?" new research shows. It is a *collaborative* rather than *individualistic* tool. Those with the greatest collaborative capabilities will thrive.

Loved the FT piece today—so much untapped potential in home energy savings. Insulation, heat pumps, solar, and batteries work best together: insulation cuts costs and boosts comfort, heat pumps are super efficient, and solar plus batteries now pay for themselves. The future of home energy is bright!
