If one is censured by a nation's Parliament for behaviour officially found to be "corrosive of trust in government", and is referred to an anti-corruption commission for misleading its Cabinet about the "crude and cruel" Robodebt scheme, how is one then eligible for said country's highest honour?

In Tasmania, salmon farmers can choose their own level of disclosure about the volume and location of antibiotic treatment.

"Which means the public have no verifiable knowledge about whether, or how much, antibiotics have been used."

We need a National Anti Corruption Commission free from any suggestion of conflict of interest. Commissioner Brereton considers Defence corruption referrals while holding the rank of Major General. He wears the uniform, attends events and says nothing to see. I disagree.

Colour me shocked that Ol' Dutts & Pup Paterson will roll out the red carpet for the disgraced Mike Pezzullo who - let's recall - was sacked after an independent inquiry made scathing findings against him that he'd misused his position & breached the Public Service Code of Conduct at least 14 times.

"It remains a pretty shocking aspect of this country: the amount of money we provide to help rich kids get even further ahead of poor kids."

Right now public schools won't be fully funded until 2034 (3 terms away if it holds) - denying an entire generation of kids proper schooling. It's a disgrace

We have to do better.

A young homeless person dying every 4 days in our country is unacceptable. We still don't even have a national housing & homelessness plan.
