The Gill case is not an isolated incident. Far from it.

As @carolecadwalla.bsky.social explains on Novara Media, the network exposed in court reaches far beyond one man - and that should alarm all of us.

#Palestine: In #Gaza, journalists like Abdalwahab Hamad keep documenting the war, despite facing famine, displacement and death daily. “I worry about my family, and at the same time, I have to stay physically strong to continue reporting daily” he stated.

The record death toll for news workers in Gaza is just one of the grim realities facing those still reporting as the Israel-Hamas war grinds into its third year.

Three years ago, #Azovstal Defenders surrendered into Russian captivity. They defended Mariupol and Azovstal for 86 days. Over 800 Defenders from #Azov are still captives of Russia, three years later. Russia is very reluctant to exchange them.

I remember those days so well.

So the person who will have sole authority over this substantial area of England was elected with just a quarter of the votes cast, thanks to the anti-democratic institutions of local executive mayors and first-past-the-post electoral rules.

What’s happened to our democracy?

There have been reports about an ammunitions depot being hit and secondary detonations resulting from that.

Waiting for more information.

Have you read bylinetimes.com/2025/02/21/d..., dated Feb 21? It goes through former KGB officers’ evidence of Trump’s 1980s links (up to recruitment) with the KGB and his first wife’s with the Cz/slovak equivalent. I’ve read the Russian-language links in it - they stand up.

Labour feel like there's no real threat to them on the left so they're pushing 50,000 children into poverty.

They are threatened by Reform & things are going to get much worse.

None of this is inevitable though. We can stop it. We need to grow. Quickly.
