Timing.
The Airbnb I wanted wasn't available for the first night. so I need to stay in Kalamata - which means I get to go to the Saturday market.
I now discover that the Sunday after that is a super important feast day in the Orthodox calendar, so I'll go to the local church.

As a pretty firm atheist, and someone who *really* dislikes a lot of Catholicism, even I am sad to hear of Pope Francis's death.
I believe that overall he was a force for good in humanity. He'll be missed.

A good day - my daughter has a job interview next week so my wife & I took her shopping for suitable clothes.
