Just so I'm clear on this, computer memory has tripled in price because a bunch of it that hasn't been produced yet has been ordered to populate GPUs that aren't installed in data centers that aren't built yet in order to service a demand that doesn't exist to make profits that don't happen.

I've got a hankering for warm beverages, preferably not overloaded with sugar, in this extreme cold. Then I remember I have these canisters of old teas from Teavana, back when they had their own shops. Sure, that puts them 8-10+ y/o, but they still seem to taste OK.

You've been hit by a car and you're fading in and out. You ask the EMTs to price the ambulance ride. You get to the ER and tell the docs you'll need a price on each service before it's done. You get cancer so it's time to put treament out to competitive bid. I can keep going...

Anyway, not that I need a reason because I like to think I’m a decent human being, but when I see my friends dealing with possible HRT problems, all I can think of is: I’d die without mine. EVERYONE should have access to the things they keep them alive, no matter what the HRT does.

Not happy about having to be awake at 4 AM tomorrow for a disaster recovery exercise, but at least I was able to pawn off the data center change tonight and the database migration support later tomorrow morning.

OK. Solid day so far. Got a hair cut (no more braids for a while) printed out the fliers for our charity game in March. Now time for gym. (deadlift day). Let's gooooo!
