I'm glad to see more realizations, but one part of me chafes at the constant, "OMG, can you believe the TDS-addled crackpot nutjob alarmists were actually RIGHT?!" Like...from @jonrauch.bsky.social here, "Overused to the point of meaninglessness," no clearly it had meaning, because it was correct

Minnesota National Guard members have arrived at a federal building and were directed to distribute donuts, coffee, and hot chocolate to anti-ICE protesters. Guard members were issued reflective vests so they would not be mistaken for federal agents.

Study guide for anyone coming out for #ANE2026 this weekend. A-grade for Matt even though he pronounced Quincy as 'Kwin-see' not 'Kwinzee', solid B+ for Ben, and Brooklyn Jimmy was clearly lost at sea which I'm assuming was the setup joke

Heads up for folks staying at the main @ane.boston Westin. While doing some pre-trip bookkeeping I noticed that last week the hotel added a $40/night 'destination fee' (separate from taxes and such). It was very much not mentioned in the original reservation email, so check budgets accordingly!
