“Can’t believe NYC elected a Muslim as mayor.”

In truth—a Black American Christian woman swearing in a Ugandan American Muslim of South Asian ethnicity as his Syrian American wife holds the Qurans he swears in on, all while standing on the steps of a subway station—is the most NYC thing imaginable.

Final broadcast of ABC News Tonight for 2025. I hope every rep and senator saw it.

Millions are being forced to cancel health insurance because it’s unaffordable. That pressure doesn’t stop with them; it spreads. When people drop coverage, everyone’s rates go up.

Call your Rep and Senators.

Since there has been a lot of talk of denaturalizing people. This case is worth remembering: Trop v. Dulles. The Supreme Court is basically saying making someone stateless is a fate worse than death. ⚖️ I taught this in Trump 1.0. It's back on my syllabus. 📜 supreme.justia.com/cases/federa...

I worry the same thing. I’m 68 years old. I’m sad to think how things have so drastically deteriorated and that I may not live to see things ever improve. U r right. We didn’t do what we should have. The senate should have tried and convicted Trump. Garland should have prosecuted. The list goes on…

Absolutely. I fear the failure to do that so far is going to be looked back on as a huge missed opportunity. Dems have gotta change and old rules gotta go.
We need a new generation of leaders who are the voices of democracy, freedom, social justice, & the rule of law.

A new generation that renews the “we” in “we the people.”

Instead of fretting over Zohran Mamdani, the Democratic Party should embrace him as part of its future.

There aren’t anywhere remotely close to 100 million aliens in the US, undocumented or naturalized.
DHS now says it's aiming for 100 million deportations. In an amazing coincidence, there are 104 million Black and Hispanic people living in the U.S. right now.

People like to say whatever early Biden immigration policy was was too far left and out of touch and Trump’s is clearly too far right and out of touch and surely there has to be a moderate position for the average Joe american. Yea that was Obama’s and entire right spent years saying it was…
This should not be shrugged aside. They have stopped with the fake 22 million illegal immigrants things and are flat out saying we want to deport 10's of millions of citizens and legal residents from "third world countries" Basically they are advocating removing 1/3 of the population on a gov site.
