Funny how history keeps repeating itself…
ANALYSIS: Thomas Jefferson tried to prosecute a political foe and it backfired. Donald Trump is making the same mistake, writes historian @joshuamzeitz.bsky.social.

The indictment of Comey echoes a case that diminished the powers of the presidency.

This weak, brazen attempt by Stephen Miller both to chill free speech and to set up a premise to criminalize it — and, to be clear, this is the very type of speech most central to First Amendment protections — would be laughably embarrassing if this man did not have the power that he has.

Prices are not going down. We’re seeing them go up everywhere, and I think that trend is only going to continue.

This is misinformation, which I fell for earlier. Costco has never sold Mifepristone, and after being told that, this person has disabled replies and left the thread up.
Very bad news from Costco. One of the groups orchestrating this pressure campaign is Alliance Defending Freedom, a Christian Nationalist law firm that is hellbent on reshaping US society.

The ADF coalition "now turns its focus to CVS and Walgreens."

Lots of people falling for this dude's right-wing propaganda.

Costco has never sold mifepristone pills.

This "story" is nothing more than a weak attempt to generate outrage at Costco.

It's like saying McDonald's doesn't sell mifepristone pills due to "activist pressure".

It's just not true.
