The guy is 53 years old.
He's almost a trillionaire.
He employs many thousands of people.
He's running multiple billion-dollar businesses.
He's made the "heart with hands" gesture. 🫶
He's had access to the same historical information we all have since grade school...

I for one am entirely relieved to know the Galen Westons of Ontario also received their 200 Doug Bucks, to help them deal with the high cost of groceries too.

This is a relatively unique (and imperfect) case and but I still think it’s the kind of thing we need to be doing more of — master-planned upzoning:
Northdale in Waterloo, Ontario: a neighbourhood next to two big universities that was upzoned. It now has _side streets_ with mid-rise mixed-use buildings (with low parking rates) right alongside the detached houses they’re replacing. Lots of small independent businesses there, not many cars.

RIP Arthur Frommer -1929-2024. It's 1986, high school over, used copy in hand, my travelbug was ignited. The discovery of design, food, flavours and life began! Ofcourse I was aghast to find that rampant inflation meant $25-30/ day was now more realistic by 1986 LOL.

I feel mislead by all dystopian literature. It's supposed to be a powerful authoritarian government that lords over a cowering population, and and we just need need a few brave acts of heroism to give the people the courage to rise up.

Instead it's just half the country being dumb and mean.
