My writing process is usually:

a) I got this
b) well, fuck
c) wait that part was real good
d) wait no that part sucks
e) I am a god of this place
f) the fuck is this shit, who do I think I am, why am I here
g) oh man I just figured it all out
h) mistakes were made
I) existential dread

There's no need to fear the banshee if your voice is louder.
There's no need to fear the vampire if your bite is deeper.
There's no need to fear the dark forest if your claws and antlers are sharper, and your darkness is deeper still.

do you also get so obsessed with your #d&d character that you fill up an entire page with little trinkets relating to them? no? just me?

in a recent session, my drow was turned into a faun (temporarily) and she wasn't very happy about it so i had to sketch it
