Wizards are pulling the plug on the current Monster Hunter SLD, and are reworking it to do better.

"you have not played the game unless you've played the game" is one of my more annoying but unshakable opinions
the whole "don't play the game, just watch a video on youtube that will explain its story to you" is so disheartening because the issue of accessibility is genuinely really important but it's always just people who want to be spoon-fed nicely quantifiable information

I really feel like we don’t appreciate enough what we lost when Rockstar stopped doing things like dropping a music creator with Timbaland or randomly licensing a cult 80’s movie & making a fantastic beat-em-up that continues the storyline so they could just pour everyone into the GTA/RDR grind
