We need to stop burning fossil fuels...yesterday. #ClimateEmergency #FBPE

Climate is my thing, followed by a deep dislike of dishonesty / bigotry / lies and dark money in politics (often climate related).

I remember a time (not too long ago) that we had the collective moral decency to agree, that if a politician spoke this way to a female reporter, that would be the end of their political career.

It's fair that the UK should pay to access the EU's energy market and the SAFE security fund, after all, it's not up to the EU to "make Brexit work".

EU member states are also right to be wary of UK cherry picking access to the single market.

Asked whether Nigel Farage plans to sue the Guardian, given he denies making any of the racist and anti-semitic comments attributed to him, his spokesman replies "not at this stage".

Nigel Farage's spokesman denies he made racist comments, saying it was "a long time ago" and "you can’t always recollect what happened".

Asked why lots of people remember the same thing, he asks why they didn't come forward before

When I point out some of them did, he replies "not in the same way"

Weird how all these Abundance people are so terrible on #ClimateChange.

Now it's Abundance poster-boy Josh Shapiro pulling PA out of the cap-and-trade Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative.

Abundance is many things, but it's not a climate solution.

So we know Congress doesn't have to play a role in releasing the Epstein Files. Trump as acting president could just release them.
If the files contain all democrats why not release them anyway?
I have many American friends but,do they honestly think the corrupt mobster won't falsify them? 🤦‍♀️

On Nigel Farage's racism, of course it is possible that someone can believe one thing when they're a teenager and something completely different when they're an adult.

But where is the evidence that has happened in this case?

Instead all of the evidence points in the complete opposite direction
Nigel Farage Is a Racist
The media is refusing to state the most bleedingly obvious facts about a man whose entire career has been devoted to pursuing a racist political agenda

I think most people underestimate the role fossil fuel interests are playing in undermining democracy and the shift to the extreme far right..

These interests are the epicentre of everything that's been happening, from Trump's election to the unholy alliance between Putin and US libertarians.

But on a day where the president both just called a woman reporter "Piggy" and is celebrating someone who had people bone saw apart one of my colleagues, I might just be a little ready to defend my colleagues and profession.

But that's just me
