The International Criminal Court is ditching Microsoft Office, saying it’s too dependent on US tech, in favor of Open Desk, a German open source alternative.

My last post may have sounded a bit woo-woo. But CMEs & flares can seriously F up our electrical grids, destroy transformers, & cause EMP effects. Imagine if the power went out EVERYwhere all at once. No cars will start. There's no internet. No banking. No Tik Tok! OMG! Months/years to recover. 67!

Interesting, though, that Amazon's AI seems to understand what 'punishment' is, when I asked it why my package wasn't delivered after I cancelled Prime - even though the delivery van pulled up, then drove away.

Our last Amazon package got delivered to another address entirely, as well, despite giant address numbers on the front of our buildings. Plus, they NEVER read delivery instructions. Really frustrating.

So. Was watching my Amazon package approach. Watched it count down on the map. 3 stops. 2 stops. 1 stop. The Amazon van pulled up in front … then drove off. No delivery. This is why I’m canceling Prime. It’s Bullshit.
