Interesting, though, that Amazon's AI seems to understand what 'punishment' is, when I asked it why my package wasn't delivered after I cancelled Prime - even though the delivery van pulled up, then drove away.

So "Doctor" Oz said that americans will lose - & I quote - "135 billion pounds" with newly available weight-loss drugs. By next November. This equates to almost 400lbs PER AMERICAN. Including babies. These are the leaders you elected, folks. Wow.

Here's some choice cyclist sidewalk mayhem just from yesterday. Watch the one at the beginning diving around me on the right & onto the sidewalk WITH A BABY ON BOARD. Then 2 more swerving wildly OFF the SIDEWALK into traffic (note car in front braking to avoid).

Here's some choice cyclist sidewalk mayhem just from yesterday. Watch the one at the beginning diving around me on the right & onto the sidewalk WITH A BABY ON BOARD. Then 2 more swerving wildly OFF the SIDEWALK into traffic (note car in front braking to avoid).
Today's bad driver. This black Chevy Cruze was erratic all the way up Chebucto - at one point almost going up onto the sidewalk. Not moving off when traffic proceeded. On phone? Drunk? Dunno. Then finally backing into a white Corolla at the Willow Tree. (& then taking off).

Some of us have had a bit of rain. Yes. But it's still going to take a year or two to replenish everything. Look at the lakes, especially in HRM's watershed. Just because you got wet doesn't mean it's all good. We are still in a major drought. And you still can't burn. $25,000 fine.
